About

I studied Computer Science at UoM and have spent the last 20 years building software and products.

I’m a software developer, but over the years I focused more and more on product leading me to start a software company.

Co-founder of Altaro Software, where we built backup solutions for virtual machines and Office 365. What started as a small consumer backup product, eventually grew into software products used by tens of thousands of companies and MSPs around the world. I spent my time at Altaro designing and building our products, and later served as Chief Product Officer as the company scaled.

Altaro was acquired in 2021, after which I remained on and worked on R&D for new products.

I have since left Altaro to return to studying ML and coding, and I hope to write about some of my projects on this blog.
